After checking out his CDs on Amazon I liked his music and decided to order this DVD as a way to see what this guy is all about. He's often been compared to Bob Dylan and I really wanted to know who could compare to the the incomparable Bob Dylan. But, WOW!!! Jackie Greene is a ball of talent! The DVD showcases his outstanding talent as a songwriter, musician and singer. He plays a variety of instruments (guitar, harmonica, Hammond) and shows off his amazing talent for song writing in a variety of styles (blues, rock, folk, and soft ballads like Sweet Somewhere Bound). Mixed between songs is Jackie himself talking about his life and his music. He comes though as an old soul with wisdom and human emotion that far exceeds his 23 years of age. Comparable to Dylan? Definitely! But, also unique with his own sound and style. Keep your eye on him. He's young, he's mega-talented, and, for now, he comes at a bargain. Buy this CD, meet Jackie Greene and be prepared to become an instant admirer.
