(More customer reviews)Pre-ordered just on name alone. Have been waiting forever to see Phoebe live and this actually helps. Although an old, old performance (and from German TV to boot), it is one of the best preserved and best sounding performances I've seen. Phoebe's voice is flawless throughout the set and amazingly powerful. She seems to possess a voice like the old-time barrelhouse singers - no microphone needed to raise her voice above others. This is a highly recommended live recording that was best suited for release on DVD. Now my only wish is too still see Phoebe in concert.
