Most of Bardot's French TV shows are on this DVD, except for some other great appearances that she did for French TV, such as "La fille de paille" (1969) and "Vous ma Lady" (duo with Laurent Vergez, 1973).
This DVD has good quality picture, although the colors are a bit on the faded side. The menu is done very simply and there is not much work put into it. This is a great piece on the art of French seduction; each song has Bardot in different outfits and parading through many scenes portraying the "free spirit" of the women of the 60's, among whom Bardot was a pioneer and trend-setter. If you watch the 1968 Bardot Show on this DVD, you can see that her look is exactly the same as you see in fashion magazines and TV today. Bardot was definitely "the real thing" - she was gorgeous, free, careless, authentic, anti-star, natural, divine and unique. Anything else coming out of Hollywood in the past 30 years has been merely a poor imitation of Brigitte Bardot.....I highly recommend this DVD for Bardot fans and for anybody who is interested in getting to know the sexiest woman of the last 100 years...VIVA LA BARDOT!!!
