(More customer reviews)John passed July21 05 . this DVD was from a 1993 German TV Show ,and I picked it up recently . I was not disappointed . He hits the stage with a top notch Gypsy -looking band; I would imagine they are his Canadian band .. and launches into 'Everyday I Have The Blues' which segues into one of his theme songs Jimmy Witherspoon's 'Money's Getting Cheaper' AKA 'Times Gettin Tougher Than Tough' . Mid way through the set , John plays some acoustic 12 string . The show is recorded well . camera work is very good too . Johns vocal could be a bit further forward in the mix , but it's OK .I would have liked to see him break down into a smaller line up or perform solo with the 12string .. It would have lended better to the dynamics of the show , but I am nitpicking . So sad he is gone .He was one of the greats . all blues /blues rock fans should see this . a classy show .Great playing from the very talented band who double a lot on various instruments .
