(More customer reviews)I watched this DVD twice after receiving it and can't tell you how much of a thrill it was to see Nanci perform some of her material live.Nanci is one of those singer-songwriters who I have always admired and loved.Her ability to make me stop and listen to her sing, while at the same time enjoy her storytelling, make her a unique performer.
I knew I would probably enjoy this live performance, but it was only after viewing it that I was awed by her voice and her wonderful stage presence.
This is like a wonderful gift Nanci shares with those of us who have never seen her perform live.She shines, and then some.Her "Blue Moon Orchestra", and her special guests, including"Emmylou Harris" also share a strong respect, love, and
admiration for her musical abilities and her strong sense of humanity.
Nanci, the performer, is as self-effacing as I had imagined she would be.The concert takes place in a wonderfully intimate setting that really showcases her skills and looks impeccable.
If you are a Nanci Griffith fan, she will delight,inspire, and please you with her performance.Thank you Nanci for this.It was worth the wait to have such a cherished keepsake.
