(More customer reviews)It also has a very creepy and gross beginning, even though there's nothing really to it, it's just Chucky getting rebuilt, but it's still creepy. (Although interestingly, you find out exactly how they put freckles on a doll.)
There's not much of a continuation from the previous film to this, and there's nothing new, apart from the introduction to some new characters, two of whom get quickly killed off, and one who survives. Much more is done with Chucky's eyes, which could practically look straight through you - just evil enough for a doll.
The finale is terrific, and as I still have another 3 films to watch, I'm so curious as to how the writers managed to think up more ways for Chucky to return. You'd think at the end of this movie, he's gone for good, but he's not!
It's a decent enough sequel, sticking close enough to the original to keep viewers happy, and just enough gory bits to keep you going. I look forward to the next three, but I will never, ever, let any kids I have see these.
