(More customer reviews)If are interested in seeing music videos by Canadian recording artist Emm Gryner, this is the DVD for you. If you are not familiar with her work, head over to the music area and check out some of her CDs, I highly recommend them.
This DVD features four music videos (Hello Aquarius, Your Sort of Human Being, Julia, Beautiful Things) with commentary from Emm. If you are familiar with MuchMoreMusic, you may have run across 2002's Beautiful Things, it was a top ten video there. There are also three never-before-released songs recorded at Emm's home studio: Starcraft Camper Blues, Billy Hang On, and Drive. There is also StarTV footage of Ms. Gryner in Ottawa at the 2003 Juno Awards, where her CD "Asian Blue" was nominated for Best Pop Album of the Year.
This DVD is a good introduction for United States music lovers, who have probably never heard of the very talented Ms. Gryner despite her frequent visits to smaller venues near most major cities.
