(More customer reviews)I read the book after seeing the film.I liked them both a lot,but the film has a somewhat different ending, which I especially liked. This is the only Isaac Bashevis Singer book I've read, and the film did it justice, except I have a feeling the ending might offend his literary fans. It could be said that it wrapped up the story in a way quite uncharacteristic of the author. My guess only.
