(More customer reviews)Pia Zadora stars as Bobbie Warren, a nightclub singer in Las Vegas who is about to testify against her gangster ex-boyfriend. She's running around in the Riviera Hotel (at the time owned by Zadora's real-life husband Meshulam Riklis), protected by two cops, played by Telly Savalas and Desi Arnaz Jr. It's a nice mix of humour and action. It starts out as a Women-in-Prison movie and then turns into comedy/action, with a spectacular car stunt scene with a Fiat Ritmo. Add to this a great singing performance by Pia Zadora dressed in a Bob Mackie outfit and you've got an entertaining little movie.
I haven't yet seen this DVD edition so I can't comment on the DVD transfer, but I'm glad this movie is finally out on DVD. It deserves an audience.
