This man allmost single handedly kept solo acoustic blues going for many many years and had there been any justice would have been featured on MTV's Unplugged to let the kids hear the real deal...but enough...
This DVD is to be reviewed...
its a stunner! A brilliant and very very generous 2 hour set featuring many of his best arrangements and signature tunes...filmed well , recorded well...and played well! The bonus 10 minute "interview with John Hammond" is super...heck worth the $20 on its own...as he rehearses...walks around Paris and discusses his life and music...WOW WOW WOW..
THIS is a Desert Island DVD for me ...and I've only got a couple thousand so that tells you what I think of it..
If you are reading this you must be a fan of the man...resist no longer...its a great DEAL and a solid program...
You'll be satisfied and tickled too!
