This DVD gives us less than an hour of Roberta Flack on stage performing with her band and she talks through a full 25% of that time! Don't expect a satisfying concert experience from this disk. The performances are disappointingly perfunctory and a shadow of the inspired music found on those treasured early recordings. The sycophantic audience seems to make the performance seem even less satisfying. Well....maybe you had to be there. If you are a Roberta Flack fan stick to the audio recordings for now. Perhaps a video performance worthy of her talent is yet to come. This DVD has too much talk, too little music, and none of the old Roberta Flack fire.
